Todays race. Birds come well except for the trap of the first pigeon. Did around a minute which was costly today. But as we all know trapping is a big part of tbe race.
I sent 35, 10 we’re having there first race of the year. I had 28 in 7 minutes. 32 in 12 minutes and 34 in 21 mins. Last one come back also injured 4 hours later.
I managed to win 1st, 2nd and 6th club. Along with 13th and 22nd open Thames 1,971 birds.
First pigeon has now won 2x1st and 2nd club this year so far. Plus 2x13th and 15th open Thames. He is from a 2015 cock 76 who was a good racer and is responsible for over 10x1st prize winners. He was paired to a daughter of amor when paired to his own double granddaughter Miss Consistent.
D10 was 3 and half minutes behind this week but come with a puncture wound. Wonder what time she would have been.
