Sorry to say no video today. It was a short and quick race and I had visitors to watch the race.
I sent 64, this was split, 29 natural distance ybs. 11 old birds and 24 darkness ybs. Which are a mixture of Jose and Gustave Goemaere and Frans Zwols.
The race was from Littlehampton 74 miles to me. After 1 hour 11 minutes. 9 pigeons appeared and managed to mess each other up. Wasting around 35/40 seconds on trapping. With the first one hitting the trap finally on 1 hour 12 minutes exactly. The first one is a Mealy cock. He is direct from the hen we brought on Pipa in December. Which is a half sister to Gustave XIV.
Second on the clock is a decent yearling cock 88. He is from the best of the Frans Zwols and he has a few positions to his name.
3rd on the clock was RP cock. He is another Jose and Gustave Goemaere. This time the sire is a direct son of there national ace who was 2nd National 14,000 pigeons.
These finished up 1st, 2nd and 3rd club 206 birds
12th, 13th and 14th open Thames 909 birds.
Of the 9 birds that come together these were clocked in 18 seconds. Once they started to trap. 8 of tbe 9 were from the 24 darkness Goemaere José & Gustave – Colombophile and Frans Zwols section with the other being an old bird.
