Yesterday inland race from Honition 172 miles.
I ended up with 12/13.
First pigeon was my Yearling Frans Zwols cock 99. He won 1st club and 7th open Thames he has a couple of positions before and was also my first pigeon 4 weeks ago. This is his 7th race of the season. He also only had 3 races as a yb. He has impeccable breeding. His sire is Maltese Falcon who won 1st open NFC. who in turn is from D32. Dam of 99 is Guernsey Princess she won 1st open BICC and 3rd open BICC guernsey.
2nd pigeon is my super yearling Frans Zwols hen 53 this was the 6th time she has scored this year. Today she was 3rd club and 24th open Thames. My 3rd pigeon a yearling slate frans Zwol is cock which won last week was 5th club this week.
The UBI race from Wadebridge 251 miles was also a gappy race through I did get 6/6 home in the end. My first one was a yearling Frans Zwols cock number 14. He was showing some promise this year until he made a mistake 4 weeks ago from Fourgers coming back on day 3, tired and lost weight. He had lots of rest and 2 training tosses this week and both times he was first on the clock. So I was pretty sure he had learnt from his mistake and did not want to repeat it. He come like a rocket to be 2nd open Thames.
BBC Messac was not such a good race I only have 3/10 and was off the pace. Through John Cowlin did very well timing his very good 3 year old Frans Zwols cock to be 3rd section and 15th open National provisonaly sending just the 1 pigeon. This cock is proving a real gold pigeon and has the best of the Rekkem 083 and Tip Top Devil blood.
NFC Sigogne turned into a very difficult race for me I sent 10 and still only have 1. My very good 3 year old hen 83. As an old bird she has raced 5,258 miles in total. Including 9 channel races. Her top 10 results on my Benzing app are as per below. 83 is the last pigeon we ever raced from the dream pair Prince of Rekkem and Dreamy. The pair that are responsible for 11x1st national for 5 different fanciers and 11 different liberations.
I think after this weekend I might just go to Bordeaux with a small team and start to think about starting my YBS training.
