Not to bad in final nfc result. I sent 10 finished up 1st section, 30th open. 3rd section 35th open. 4th section 43rd open. 5th section 78th open. In a very hard race. With wind, the drag and weather against where I live.
My first bird is from the very best of the frans Zwols. She was my 4th pigeon from Guernsey 2 weeks before winning 65th open BICC. And was again my first pigeon from Fourgers National a week later winning 8th provisional open BBC nationals. she was bred for the job as her sire is from Sophie Boy who won 1st open NFC st Philbert in 2022 when paired to Special Lady who is dam of 1st open BICC and 2nd open NFC. The dam of our pigeon is direct from Maltese falcon who won 1st open NFC YB in 2020, when paired to the Queen of Contances who was 2nd open NFC to Maltese Falcon and then won 1st open BICC also from Contances, 6 days later.
My 2nd pigeon in 3rd Section P, she is also 100% Frans Zwols and from the BICC Guernsey race landed with my first pigeon in this race to take 66th open BICC. She is a double Grand child of Amor and a Grandchild of D’Artagain 749.
Followed by a nest pair from our very good racing hen 36 who we retired to stock at the end of the 2023 season.
I pooled 2 of the 10 i sent and the first 2 were both my pool pigeons. Second 2 both carried NFC gold rings.
The winner and 3rd open NFC also carried the Frans Zwols bloodlines. For mr and Mrs Gower. And 1st section 3rd open In the old hens race for Dave and John Dave Staddon also being via 2 of our pigeons.
One thing this season has proved yet again it does not matter if quick easy races or good working race or even a all out slog the frans Zwols hit the front and win in every level of competition. Club, Fed, combine or national.
